    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    Three meals were eaten by the people in olden times. Breakfast was eaten at six o'clock in the morning. Lunch at about one o'clock, and dinner at six o'clock in the evening. They had porridge in the morning, bread and meat for their lunch and potatoes. The people sat around the table in the centre of the floor. When the dinner was brought out to the men in the fields, each man got a penny loaf and plenty of butter-milk. On St. Patrick's day they always got fish.
