    (2) Chilblains - Beet.
    (3) Pain in the knee - Marshmallow.
    (4) Sty in your eye - a Gold ring or a gooseberry thorn pointed in your eye and whilst pointing repeat certain words.
    (5) Boils - Garlic, snails
    (6) Warts - a little well of water in a stone to rub it on and say "In the name of the Father, son, and Holy Ghost". Or wart-weed for warts
