- My townland is called Analack It is in the parish of Graig-na-managh and in the Barony of Gowran. They are seven families in Analack. The most name is Dowling. They are thirty-three people in it. They are two houses thatched and five slated. The meaning of Analack is flaggy river it got its name from a stream in the district They are one old in it he cannot tell stories in English or Irish. In olden times houses were more plentiful in my townland. There are ruins of four old houses in it. Two of the ruins were occupied by people who went to America. Part of the is boggy and part of it good. There is no wood in it. There is a small stream in the townland(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
