  1. The Banshee.
I have written some articles about the folklore of the district but I have not mentioned yet about the Banshee.
She is supposed to be a woman dressed in white floating clothes and having very long bright hair.
Many people around Danesfort are supposed to have seen her late at night. It is said that she follows people with "O" in their names. People also say they heard her screaming near their house before some person in the house died.
If a person were going along the road and found a comb it would most likely be thought to be the Banshee's comb. They say that in the night time she is always combing her hair while crying.
