    and went home. The great friendship arose between the Co. Kilkenny family and the Co. Waterford family. It was then a terrible crime for any marriage to take place between families of two different counties, but on took place in the next generation between those two families and a small man came one night to waken the house-hold. He said, "On your holding are two large crocks of gold to be found in the future years by a member of the Tobin family for service rendered to my people. It shall be found when the family will be burying a valuable animal.
