    If the potatoes grow in pits it denotes a late Spring. If we see a mist on the Caslin hills it is the sign of rain, and if we see a mist on the Leitrims Hills it is the sign of good weather. If the water on the Lake is blue it is the sign of good weather and if the water on the Lake is a dark blue it is the sign of rain
    If the midges are biting in the evening it denotes rain. Cricket is heard whistling at night it is the sign of rain and if the Crickets leave the house and go out it is the sign of good weather.
