  1. There was an Irish man once looking for work and he went into a house and asked for work. Then the man of the house asked him did he read what was written on the gate and the Irish man said he did not. Then the man of the house told him to go out and read it.
The Irish man went out and read what was written on it. "No Irish man need apply" was written on it. Then the Irish man wrote under it. "Who ever wrote it wrote it well and the same is written on the gates of hell."
