    1. There is a bush on the hill of Carbury and there are fairies supposed to be under it, something would happen to anyone who cut it down.
    There is a woman heard screeching in the castle every year.
    There is a pot of gold in the quarry and there is a cat supposed to be minding it.
    There is a hangman's tree near the hill where people were hanged long ago.
    There is a field near Carbury that if you once went into it at night you could not get out of it until daybreak.
    There is a ghost at Ardkill style every time the gap is fenced the bushes are taken out again.
