  1. One day a tailor was working at some house over Laune and as he was coming home that night about two clock and as he was passing Beaufort he saw a woman standing upon the wall and he rushed for one of the doors and she ran at him and he took scissors out of his pocket and kept her back with it, and the man of the house got up when he heard the noise and opened the door when the door was opened he fell in on the floor and the man fell in on the floor as well with the fright and the woman pulled the boots off the tailors feet without ripping them and then the woman went away and the tailor stayed with him that night and he went home in the morning and after a few days he went to London and he was killed by the same woman there.
