  1. Moulagullane
    I live in the townland of Moulagullane about a mile from the village of Sneem. Moulagullane gets its name from a big "Gullán" or stone which stands erect in the ground at a place called Doirín a Coirce which is in the farm next to my father's.
    There are eight farms in Moulagullane at present, but in olden times the townland was divided into three farms, owned by Moriartys, Teahans and Hamiltons. Mr Bland who was the landlord at that time routed all the old tenants and put new ones on the land. He also divided the land
