    On the cooling shades of Lauragh,
    It was cautious on the Sabbath Day,
    With fervent prayers of Religion.
    That we had passed away.
    There was a football game between the Bearaghs and the Kerrymen
    T'would cheer the heart of anyone
    To see that gallant play.
