  1. This is how Love Lane got its name. Long ago the people used to grow flowers outside their doors and used to have them in they windows.
    There is a hole in a field beside the field at the "New Line" and it is called, "Sgeac Dearg it means the "red bush". It is in the townland of Clashduff the yeomen are supposed to have trenched themselves in it.
    Over in Sawneys there is a place up in the top of it. It is called "Sluagh
