    Skehana road. It is in the ditch on the right hand side of the road going to Ballinakill. There is music heard on it every night. It is said that if a load of stones was left on the flag the next morning the stones would be scattered around the road. The flag is known asthe slippy flag.

  2. The Lacken is the name of an old land in Kilkenny St. I leads out on the Square at the Protestant school. There was a street there one time.
    From the Lacken down to the end of Kilkenny St. and up to the hospital was known as Chapel Lane.
