The only wages he could earn was sixpence a day to support himself and his sister. He was ploughing for a man by the name of Woods in Sumertan. Not having food enough to eat he ate some of the horses food at dinner time. He to a pain one day and died within an hour. His sister had no one to support her then she died of hunger in the little cabin in Kilcollan
