- There was a woman living in our townland some years ago. In her dying bed she said - no stranger was to sleep in her bed. One night the servant boy slept in it and in the middle of the night a red-haired woman appeared who looked at him angrily.
She caught the boy and threw him inside the bed. He took no notice of this as he thought it was all a dream. When he awoke in the morning he was lying in an unconscious state on the floor inside the bed.- Informant
