  2. A few years ago about Christmas time men were hunting around the fort at Lisbaby, and they saw a hare and put the hounds in pursuit. When the hounds got track of the hare they followed her on until they reached the place where she was. One of the hounds fell dead and the men put on the rest of them and when they reached the place what did they find but an old woman sitting on a stone smoking a pipe.
