  1. Fairy Story
    Some years ago there lived a nurse at Shinnagh in Rathmore. At that time there were no cars and people went from place to place on horseback One night a man on horseback came to the door and called the nurse
    He asked her to go with him to attend to his wife She at once got ready and went with him. As they were on the journey she asked him his name and how far they has to go.
    He told her she had only two miles to go that he was taking her into a fort and she would have to attend to a red haired woman. He also told her not to be afraid that he would take her back home safely again; but that she should on no account eat anything they would give her. When she entered the fort there were tables of the finest food laid before her. They forced her to eat but she did not touch any food
    She attended to the red haired woman and when she was made well
