  1. This story deals with the previous fort. It is said that while the Danes were in Ireland one of them by the name of Bacócure got married to an Irish girl. It is said that it was in this fort they hid and that it was in this fort they built a house under ground and lived there for many years. They always had a room and a table set aside which was full of good things.
    Every night they came out and took a walk when they thought no body was around. It is said that they were seen by some person who knew them and he betrayed them. People came to search the place for them
