    dandyline and also water - cress is good for the heart. White lily was supposed to be good for boils. House - leek is good for the eyes. Roots of nettles boiled on sweet milk is thought to be good for measles and purifacation of the blood. "Slánlus" is good for a cut. Chicken weed helps to keep down swelling. Dockens are used to cure the sting of a nettle. The person stung rubs the docken of the part that was stung and says "Docken, docken take the sting of the nettle away."
    In former times water - cress was used like cabbage. There was a special regard for that growing in spring water. Comfry was given to cattle and pigs.
