    of the poor he helped & gave them long periods to pay their debts and to those who tried to avoid paying were able to do so he gave them the full scope of the law. In other places landlords were not so lenient & tenants suffered severely for trivial acts. Tithes were collected in the districts & many battles were fought by the people trying to resist the payment. Battle field is supposed to get its name from one of these wars. So many people fell in the district that crops will not grow on the land.
    If they do they cannot be eaten.
