is supplying a number of people is St Patricks well which is situated in a field near the town. The water of the well is beautiful and refreshingly cool even on the hottest day in Summer.
There is also a well near Cloonkeavy called after St. Patrick and it is also a well which contains water of no mean repute, which supplies many workers in a nearby bog with cool water during the summer months.

Another well-known well situated near Sligo is Tobernault where numerous people go every year and its reputation is increasing every year. Other wells that are in the vicinity are famous among the local inhabitants and are little known outside the surrounding vicinity.
