“All the boys and girls have a lot of amusement.”

All the boys and girls have a lot of amusements girls gather daisies and get a needle and thread and pull the stems off them and stick the needle in the heads and make a necklace, or a bracelet, they also make rag dolls and make dresses for them.
The boys have a lot of amusement too. There make tops out of a used thread spool, they take one end off the spool and get a stick that will fit in the hole of the spool and they make one end of the stick very sharp.
They also make guns out of a boultry branch and they scoop out the inside of it with sugar and they get a stick to fit the bore in then the shot is made out of a ball of(continues on next page)
