  2. St. Brigid's day falls on the first of February every year and a feast is kept in Her honour.
    It is also a geat custom on that day to go around with the "Biddy".
    A dozen or more boys and girls dress up in very queer clothes.
    They take all sorts of musical instruments with them such as: -
