    88. If you pull a tooth and if it is bleeding a cure for it is to throw the tooth across your head and to make the sign of the cross and the blood will stop.
    89. Wash your feet in mustard and hot water, this is a good cure for chillblains.
    90. Tea amde from the cowslip flowers is a good after-supper drink for a person who cannot sleep during the night.
    91. The elder berries make grand wine for the blood.
    92. Raspberry bark is a good cure for the yellow jaundice - when boiled, drink the juice.
    93. The dandelion roots make grand coffee - to cut the roots and draw them like tea.
    94. The holly thistle is a good cure for fevers
