Long ago it is said there was a tunnel going from one Abbey in Fenagh to the other, and it was also said there were gold and other jewels in some certain place in it.
Two or three men planned to open the tunnel some moon-light night. They began to dig, and they dug nearly half the night, and at last they discovered the tunnel. One of the men went over the tunnel a piece and after a few minutes he got a slap on the face that turned his hear round and he could not see anything hitting him.
The men went out of the tunnel as quickly as they could and closed the hole as quickly as they could. It was never opened since.
