  1. (continued from previous page)
Fr. O Rourke and Fr. Brady
    Are clergymen of fame;
    And Fr. Edward McDonnell,
We can ne'er forget his name,
    These noble-hearted clergymen
    Who speeched upon that day.
The time is fast approaching, boys
No can't we'll have to pay.
Erin as she ought to be,
    Grand, glorious, and free,
    Parnell and Davitt
    Will gain her liberty.
Each man has got a notice,
And it shortly will be seen
    We'll have our Nation's Parliament
    Again in College Green.

    Our greatest thanks are given
    To each and every one.
    But none to Ballinagleeragh,
    Or to deceitful Glan.
If ever they come near us
    They will mind forevermore,
For they're sure to be insulted
    By the boys of Ballinamore.
