    doing so, the cow stands much quiet. If she goes to kick the milker (?) "therrish" but seldom or ever a cow kicks unless her udder is sore.
    Next when she all the cows milked she goes in and gets a strainer and holds it over the croc(?) and pours in some of the milk. Then she sealds all the vessels and put them away. The milk is left there for a few days to thicken. Then the churn is scalded and left for a while to cool(?). When the churn, dash, goggler and churn lid are scalded the cream is put in. Then the dash next the lid and next the goggler, which is round cup shaped affair with a round hole on the bottom, and is put down the dash to keep the lid from skiting up. Before the churning is started a kettle of spring water boiled. Then it is started and some
