- There is a place in Annaghmore called "An cnocán" but it is not called that now because it is put in with Annaghmore. It is a small hill and hence the name. There was another place in Lear called "Bawruadh" it is never called that now.
- Long ago there was little or no shops because anything they wanted was made at home. Some years ago men and women too came to the Church after Mass to see apples, oranges and confectionery. This is done in Ballinamuck to the(continues on next page)
