  1. About 50 years ago there was a churn in our house; it was very very old. On the right side there was a sort of picture, showing a stranger coming in "who did not take a dreas" and then it showed how, after that, no butter could be got.
    On the left side, it showed the stranger coming back again; the woman of the house was churning; the stranger took the dash this time and twice the usual amount of butter came on, in 5 minutes.
    Only 2 people did the churning, a man and a woman. If 2 men did it, the butter would decay in 1 day.
