  1. In Toomna Co Roscommon there is valuable treasure hidden, according to my grandmother.
    She says she heard that there was a ball of gold found there once near a man's grave.
    The nuns are supposed to have buried gold crosses, chalices and other valuables, for safety in the Churchyard.
    When any man in that neighbourhood began to prosper all the neighbours said he must have found the nuns' treasure.
    There is a crock of gold hidden in Charlestown Co Roscommon. I never heard it was dug for.
    There is also treasure buried at Lackagh Co Roscommon. Some
