    Long ago, in Ireland, the people had many superstitions about the days of the week. The thirteenth of every month is supposed to be a very unlucky day for travelling.
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday best day of all.
    Thursday for crosses,
    Friday for losses,
    Saturday no good at all.
    The above lines give an insight into the superstitions of the Irish people in the years gone by. To show that this custom still prevails. Yesterday Wednesday, there were three marriages in this district.
