    "Flummery"
This was made by steeping some of the seeds that remained after grinding the oats. When steeped for about two days it turned sour. Then the liquid was drained off and boiled for an hour.
When boiled it was put in plates and served with sugar.
    "Sgailtín"
This was made like leithe bán. It was made from butter-milk and oaten-meal. The butter milk was boiled and the oaten-meal was added. When boiled some butter and sugar were added and it was eaten hot.
    "Gidley"
This food was made from oaten-meal. It was cooked and served similar to "sgailtín" except it was sheep's milk which was used.
