In olden times people began to wear boots when they earned the price of them by working. There was a man by the name of Jack Mahony who never wore boots. Children never go bare foot at present only in the Summer and in Winter they put on their shoes. The water which washes the feet is thrown away. Boots are made and repaired locally.
