Once upon a time a man was playing cards in a neighbours house with a couple of other lads. It was about ten o'clock in the night. At that time the coop used be inside in the dwelling house. At once the cock jumped from the coop and pitched on the table where they were playing the cards. He scattered the cards on the table with his two wings. They all stopped at once and the man who had to go home was afraid. They knew they would get some fright going home. They were not gone far, when one of them saw a sow and she running after them. There were three of them there and only one of them saw the sow. The man was afraid to look back, but the sow only attacked the two other lads. She ran after them till they came to a bridge and the sow stopped there.
