  1. A crowd of people coming from a market in Drumshambo they were from Corry. They were under the influence of drink. There was a storm going on, but none of them knew how to swim and the boat turned and they were all drowned. 22 drowned.
    Two men called "Saddlers" and Trap were out on Lough Allen going to Drumshambo. Both of them were expert swimmers but a storm arose and they were drowned.
