    Some people think it lucky to find a horse shoeand some keep one hangingup over the door so as to have luck for the yeat It must be put upside down.
    Some persons think if a person comes in on one doorand goes out on the other he takes the luck of the housewith him
    They also say it is not right to go through a door with a weapon (meaning a shovel or spade etc) on your shoulder.
    Some people would not give you a pin or a needle without sticking it in wood afraid it would cause fighting
