    When smoke rises straight up it is the sign of good weather.When the cock crows it is a sign of good weather.
    If trout are jumping up out of the water after flies it is a sign of rain.
    Midges very busy are a sign of rain
    When you can see the clouds on top of each other it is the sign of snow, and when you see Bends with it's cap on it will soon rain.
