  1. Local Fairs.
    There is a fair held in Manor-Hamilton once every month. It is held on the 12th of every months, except the 8th of May the 1st of July and the 7th of October.
    Some people say why the 8th of may and the 7th of October are hed on those days thats they are certain days of praying the rent. They also say why the 2st of July is held on that day is because if it was on the 1st the Catholics and the Protestants would be fighting.
    There is a little street called the "Fair Grueen" on which the cattle are sold. When they are making a bargain they strick hands; then the buyer marks them with Keel or sometimes dips a stisk in dirt and rubs it on their flank. Then they generally go up the town and have a drink. Generaly there are a few delp standing on the street and you could hear the owners shouting at the top of their voices. There are genarally a few cants with new clothes on them and the owners
