    new, something borrowed and something blue." Long ago a wedding procession on hauling home was held. In a few weeks after the wedding when the groom was fully prepared to take his Bride home the people gathered around again.
    They then brought the Bride and groom and and the rest of the wedding party on horses and side-cars. Most of the people that were present at the procession rode on horse-back. They always had some musical instrument with them and they played music when they were approaching towns and villages. Long ago when the Bride and groom were about to leave the house in which the wedding was taking place it was the custom of the people in the house to throw an old shoe [?] after the Bride and groom.
