    1) It is very unlucky to swop feathers.
    2) It is unlucky to see the moon through glass, it is the sign that you are going to law.
    3) If you find a horse-shoe it is the sign of good luck.
    4) When there is a new moon out if you turn money in your pocket you will have good luck.
    5) If you give out a coal to lite a fire on Monday morning you will have bad luck for the rest of the year.
    6) When a corpse is going out of the house it is right to kick the chairs and stools about the house.
    7) If a hen brings a wisp into the house it is the sign that someone will die.
    8) It is not right for a woman
