In the Ballyroe school district there are two tailors, one of them is my father Mr. geraghty who is a Shopskeeper and usually for him Mr. Kenny is the other tailor he also works in his home.
My father stocks the tweed himself. It is not woven in the district as it formaly was, but it sent to Galaway and Connemara. This cloth is worn very much amongst the people of this tarnish.
These are some of the implements my father uses during his work, scissors, thimble. smoothing iron, ruler. Shirts are made in this locality fro flour bags and shirting they buy it in the shop
