It is always gathered where there is a large family and the leaves are brewed and allowed to stand in a jar or bottle and the liquid is drunk. It is a preventative of colds and chills and is excellent for the most stubborn coughs.
    Chamomile Flowers
    Boil flowers and use water for swellings of the face in cases of abscesses, bad teeth, etc.
    Milk Weed
    Milk weed is a sure cure for warts, break stem and rub juice or milk to wart after rubbing a few times will be seen to decay.
    Rose Noble
    A weed cure for the mourn in cattle
    Cure for Measles
    Put child in and out 3 times under the asses belly.
    Cure for consumption
    Drink the asses milk after foaling
