  2. "Guaire the Generous" - son to Colman, the wicked king, who sought the life of our saint - now ruled at Kinvara.
It was Easter Sunday. The Saint's attendant was naturally hungry after the long lenten fast and begged the Saint to pray for a good meal. The Saint prayed that God would send him his fill.
At that moment King Guaire had a grand party in his palace at Kinvara. When the saint prayed the dishes rose suddenly from the table, flew through the air and never stopped or stayed till they alighted before the hungry boy on the top of the mountain. Guaire and his soldiers followed.
The sight of the dishes brought water from the servant's teeth, but he had scarcely begun eating when he saw the troop of horsemen coming. The boy trembled with fear. "Don't be afraid" said the Saint. With that the holy man prayed again. And lo and behold!
