    also.
    (ii) If a girl got a "broom" or brush on Nov. Eve & began sweeping up to a Fort who ever would come & finish it for her would be her husband.

    (iii) If a cock crows on the door step it is said that it is the sign of a stranger.

    (iv) If we see two hens fighting it also is the sign of a stranger.
