    There was also another young man drowned in Sandybottom about twelve years ago. How he got drowned was a few boys and himself went out to swim. Jackie O'Beirne was the man's name. When he went down he got into simming kit and dived in and he was swimming around for a few minutes. Then he began to go up and down in the water and the boys started to laugh and thought he was only joking but he was really drowned.
