Church. The old people say that this church was built in one night.
It was said that an army invaded Ireland to destroy churches. When the army was crossing the bog on to the church, St. Grellan stood at the western gable and raised his hand and they were all drowned in the bog.
The heads of two saints are carved on the door of this church. It was supposed to be here Seven Churches was to be built. The old people said a red haired woman watched them on the second night and that is why they changed to Clonmacnoise
