    the wool and tear it. Then the dirty bits would be picked out. Next the wool was oiled with rape oil. It was carded then. After that it was spun with a spinning wheel. If there was a great deal to be spun in a house the neighbouring women would gather into it and help at the task. When the spinning would be done it would be taken to the Weaver. There was man named Thomas Hibbet in Caltralea who used weave. He used make flannel and frieze out of thread The people used wear those clothes during the year.
