   the devil went to the shoemaker and he was in bed. He never thought of his job. He asked him had he a job and the shoemaker said nothing only started to laugh at the devil. He let a big shout out of him and said "Wax that and put a bristle on it."

   Once there was a priest and he got sick call. He had to cross a big river. No one was able to cross the river only one man. The priest asked the man to take him over the river. He did so and when he was about half way across the river the priest said
