    The little woman came in. She was dressed in a green coat with green shoes and red stockings and a red cap to match.
    She handed the can of meal to Mary and said "That is better meal than you gave me Mrs. Doherty." "Is it then" said Mary. The little woman went away at that.
    That night Mary made the porridge with the meal. Every fistful made a potful and it lasted for nine weeks.
