    One day a man was going to Dublin to buy a new suit for the winter and when he was going he saw a swallow and he said that the summer was coming so he went back to the village and drank the money, and when he was coming home he saw the swallow dead on the ice.
    There is an old story about the robin. When Our Lord was dying on the cross with the crown of thorns on His Head a robin took a thorn out of His Head and while doing so a drop of blood fell on his breast and ever since the robin was a red breast.
